Hey guys,

Many thanks for all the kind words recently from everyone on my recent Daily Deviation, Veil:


It got a much better response than I expected and I'm doing my best to reply to any questions and say thanks to you all individually.

One thing that came up, interestingly enough, is the familiarity between my piece and a piece by the talented TeaPartyGirl: [link]

I'd just like to state that it certainly wasn't a stolen idea, and I'm sure we both came to a similar idea coincidentally. Her work often revolves around stylised hair in particular, so I'm not too surprised there is a similar theme there.

It may of interest that I often jot down my inspiration on my site. In this case, this picture came around from a previous picture and some loose sketches that turned into Veil. Check it out:

Right, enough rambling. I just don't want anyone to think I'm anything akin to an art thief. I hate art thieves, so I certainly don't want to labelled one myself!

On another note, my subscription is ending soon, so I'm going to trial DA without for a while... Like I said last time I upped my subscription I don't see a real point. We'll soon see, I might miss it terribly!
