Anyway, for those not in the know of current British Politics (you're missing out, clearly) there's a bit of competition between Gordon Brown (Prime Minister, left) and David Cameron (Leader of the opposition, right).

Just to clarify, I'm not some angry youth trying to project my voice, it all started with a rather cool photo on the front of the Guardian Newspaper last week. Brown and Cameron were both at a 38% poll and the photo comparing each other made me instantly think of versus screens (see inspiration file on my site) on all fighting games.

Although I'm sure they wouldn't lift a fist to each other (well, some might, and some have) the photo had that kind of feeling to it all. Besides, it's put an interesting spin on politics for me at least!

This is nothing too special, I just wanted a chance to draw these two characters. Very simple colour with lots of cheap Street Fighter style effects - especially the 'VS' text which I thought was unique until I spotted Street Fighter Alpha 2's...

maybe they should have a political face off where the two stand on opposite sides of a car and when the ref says go they beat the shit out of it.i figure its better than a debate ;)

Cameron will win. :P Brown's face looks like it's taken a few punches in the past.

But as far as politics are concerned, I'm all for Cameron, Brown is all talk, so is Cameron in a way, but hasn't had the chance to enforce them.

I watched Brown's first questions session...at least he's still a better speaker than Bush, haha

I always love it when officials lose their cool and take irrational, immature actions. Makes me laugh so much.

Great pic/concept as always. I want to see this happen in real life. :D

Ditto to actually looking for Politics pieces.. I'm sure there was a politics category, but I'll be damned if I could find it.

Anyway, thanks for the message! Glad you liked it!
